## Position Summary The Walmart AI Product & Design MBA Product Leadership Rotational Program is a highly selective opportunity for MBA talent to help shape the next generation of AI-powered products and experiences at Walmart. This role is intended for students currently enrolled in an MBA program with a graduation date of December 2026 or Spring 2027. At Walmart, Product Managers operate at the intersection of customer and member needs, business strategy, technology, design, data, and AI. With hundreds of millions of customers and members around the world and an unmatched combination of digital and physical experiences, Walmart offers Product Managers an opportunity to build products at extraordinary scale. This rotational program is designed to accelerate the development of future Product leaders by giving you meaningful ownership across different areas of AI Product & Design. Through three six-month rotations over 18 months, you'll tackle complex customer, member, associate, and business problems; work alongside Product, Design, Engineering, Data Science, and business leaders; and build the capabilities needed to lead products from problem identification and discovery through strategy, development, launch, adoption, and iteration. ## What You'll Do - Own meaningful product problems and translate them into clear product opportunities and measurable outcomes. - Rotate across AI Product & Design through experiences across different product domains, customer journeys, AI capabilities, and business areas. - Identify where AI can meaningfully improve experiences, accelerate decision-making, simplify work, and unlock new business opportunities. - Lead across the product lifecycle, including discovery, product strategy, roadmap development, prioritization, experimentation, delivery, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement. - Work with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Analytics, Operations, and business teams to turn ideas into products. - Develop an understanding of how technology and product decisions translate into impact across Walmart's global business. - Gain exposure to senior Product, Design, Technology, AI, and business leaders through mentorship, leadership sessions, product reviews, and rotational presentations. - Build relationships with fellow MBA Product leaders through shared development experiences, networking, mentorship, and exposure across Walmart. ## Product Competencies - Customer and Problem Discovery - Product Vision and Strategy - Product Judgment and Prioritization - Data and Insights - AI and Technical Fluency - Product Execution - Experimentation and Learning - Influence and Cross-Functional Leadership - Business Acumen - Responsible Product Leadership ## Preferred Qualifications - 3-5 years of professional or military experience. - Previous experience in Product Management, Technology, AI, Strategy, Consulting, Entrepreneurship, Design, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. - Experience developing or launching digital, technology, or AI-enabled products. - Experience working with Product, Engineering, Design, Data Science, or other cross-functional teams. - Experience leading teams, initiatives, or complex projects in a matrixed environment. - Demonstrated curiosity and hands-on interest in AI, emerging technologies, and how they are changing customer experiences and businesses. ## Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 5 years' experience in product management; or 7 years' experience in product management or related area. ## Additional Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 4 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products. - Knowledge of inclusive digital experiences, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices. ## Benefits and Compensation Walmart offers competitive pay, performance-based bonus awards, medical, vision and dental coverage, 401(k), stock purchase, company-paid life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, family care leave, bereavement leave, jury duty and voting leave, short-term and long-term disability, company discounts, Military Leave Pay, adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, and Live Better U education benefits.
