Pay Rate: $121,000 - $153,000 Based on experience

Position Summary: In accordance with Wallick Mission and Values, the Senior Project Manager leads 
multiple strategic, cross-functional projects from initiation through closure while driving measurable 
improvements in operational effectiveness across the organization. This position combines disciplined 
project management with process management and continuous improvement expertise, applying Lean 
Six Sigma and other methodologies to analyze, design, standardize, and optimize business processes.  
The Senior Project Manager will also help to build and mature enterprise project management and 
continuous improvement processes and tools, supporting the organization through training, 
documentation, coaching, and mentorship.

 Qualifications Required
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 
• Five years of experience in using project management methodologies, including experience in 
running large, complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through closure. 
• Three years of experience in process management, operational excellence, or continuous 
improvement, including leading process improvement initiatives that delivered measurable 
results. 
• Demonstrated experience applying Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques (e.g., DMAIC, value 
stream mapping, root cause analysis, statistical analysis, and control plans) to improve quality, 
cycle time, cost, and customer experience. 
• Experience developing process maps, standard operating procedures, and key performance 
indicators (KPIs), and establishing process governance to sustain improvements. 
• Strong analytical and data skills; able to gather, analyze, and interpret operational data to 
support data-driven decisions and quantify business impact. 
• Experience leading change management activities and gaining adoption of new processes across 
diverse stakeholder groups. 
• Must be highly proficient in MS Office suite, including MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. 
• The following are highly desirable: 
           o Experience in construction, real estate, affordable housing, senior living, or property 
              management related industries. 
           o Experience in managing people. 
           o Experience using or configuring Smartsheet. 
           o Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab) and workflow or process 
              automation tools.

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations(preferred but may not be required): 
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification required (e.g., ASQ, IASSC, or an equivalent accredited 
program). 
• Certificate in one or more of the following areas highly desirable: 
         o Project Management Professional (PMP) 
         o Agile (e.g., PMI-ACP or Certified ScrumMaster) 
         o Change Management (e.g., Prosci) 

Functions and Responsibilities:

Project Management 
• Utilize expert project management processes to implement projects in both Information 
Technology and other strategic business units, including coordinating project teams, developing 
project charters, plans, and other project deliverables, and facilitating team meetings. 
• Track projects against scope, schedule, and budget, reporting status, risks, and issues to 
stakeholders and leadership on a regular basis. 
• Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning, and efficiently identify, escalate, 
and solve project issues. 
• Must be able to work with varied business units across the company and lend insight and 
leadership to cross-functional teams. 

Process Management and Operational Effectiveness 
• Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC) and other continuous 
improvement methodologies to reduce waste, variation, cycle time, and cost while improving 
quality and the resident and associate experience. 
• Partner with business unit leaders to identify, prioritize, and scope opportunities to improve 
operational effectiveness, and develop business cases that quantify expected benefits. 
• Analyze current-state processes through process mapping, value stream mapping, data analysis, 
and voice-of-customer input to identify root causes and design future-state processes. 
• Document standard business processes, standard operating procedures, and work instructions 
to facilitate creating standard project management and operational processes and other 
efficiencies across the organization. 
• Establish process ownership, governance, KPIs, and control plans to sustain improvements; 
monitor performance and drive corrective action when results fall below target. 
• Lead change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communication, and 
training, to ensure new processes are adopted and sustained. 

PMO Enablement and Mentorship 
• Help build and mature enterprise project management and continuous improvement processes, 
tools, templates, and standards. 
• Help configure and administer enterprise-wide project management tool; includes training end
users, creating documentation, conducting training, and configuring Smartsheet. 
• Mentor and train junior Project Managers and continuous improvement practitioners (e.g., 
Green Belts) either as direct reports or via leadership to others in the PMO and throughout the 
organization. 
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the 
organization. 


Physical Demands: Position requires work to be performed in an office setting. Extensive use of a 
computer, keyboard, and mouse; requires walking, talking, seeing, and hearing. Must be able to work in 
a fast-paced environment. 


Work Environment: Work takes place in an office setting with moderate noise levels. Minimal travel will 
be required.
