Semi-monthly salary: The current rate for this position is $2,991.88. Individual(s) selected for this position may receive a higher rate based on a pay differential (e.g. shift, or time-of-service pay).
Annual Salary: $71,805.13

Why you’ll love this position: There are two openings for a Sr. Research Data Analyst. These brand new positions will oversee teams responsible for duties that align with the Division’s commitment to monitor and improve quality of care across Missouri’s Medicaid Program. The QOU needs these leaders to support two exciting new initiatives. First, implementation and ongoing support of a Managed Care Compliance Tool contract. Second, oversight and program improvement of Non-Emergency Medical Transportation services provided to our members. A variety of additional tasks are managed by the unit, required through the Managed Care contract. Additional tasks may include oversight of contracts with an External Quality Review Organization or our Network Adequacy vendor. Preparation and submission of comprehensive reports to state and federal agencies, providing data to support budget changes, oversight of incentive programs, displaying results of quality monitoring through public website postings and dashboards.
Responsibilities - What you’ll do
What you’ll do:
- Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development to assigned staff.
- Promote collaboration across the QOU and MO HealthNet Division.
- Support comprehensive oversight of Managed Care Organizations.
- Monitor program performance using data-driven decision making.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and member outcomes.
- Develop policies, procedures, and standardized work processes.
- Represent the division on cross-functional workgroups and with external stakeholders.
- Ensure completion of projects and compliance with established timelines.
Qualifications - All you need for success
Bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience and/or appropriate certification. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
- Experience with Medicaid and/or Managed Care oversight.
- Knowledge of federal Medicaid regulations and managed care requirements.
- Experience with quality improvement methodologies and performance measurement.
- Contract management and vendor oversight experience.
- Experience analyzing healthcare quality or operational data.
- Experience collaborating with internal and external partners in your work environment.
