About the Team

You will join the Services Delivery team, part of a global organisation delivering:

• Day-one IT virtualisation consulting services

• Day-two IT virtualisation operations support

The team is focused on delivering value that exceeds customer expectations and shortening the return on investment for Nutanix clients. You will work with a talented and dedicated group that collaborates closely to achieve common goals.

You will report to the Senior Manager of Professional Services and work within a hybrid Services delivery model. When you are not working at a customer site, you will be expected to work from the office two to three days per week.

The role may require 20–40% travel, including visits to domestic client sites. There may also be opportunities to travel overseas for internal team events or training, providing a global perspective and encouraging cross-cultural collaboration.

Your Role

• Participate in service delivery engagements, working with customers’ IT teams both onsite and remotely.

• Act as a leading member of the team for Nutanix product implementation, operation, and administration.

• Understand customers’ short- and long-term IT objectives and OLAs, and align day-to-day activities accordingly.

• Use your extensive knowledge of Nutanix products and features to help customers plan strategic implementations and operational support for their Nutanix environments.

• Deliver Nutanix implementations and/or virtual infrastructure operations support.

• Leverage Nutanix intellectual property by collaborating with architects and subject matter experts to apply Nutanix best practices and accelerate the adoption and expansion of customer environments.

• Proactively assess customers’ IT environments and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Collaborate with the Nutanix Sales team to identify and communicate new opportunities, customer status, and reporting updates.

• Participate in practice development and ongoing soft-skill and technical-skill development to keep pace with the rapidly evolving industry.

• Based on management direction, support related Nutanix service offerings or spot engagements within Services Consulting or Residency.

What You Will Bring

• Experience in systems administration and virtualisation technologies.

• Strong knowledge of Nutanix AOS/AHV and/or Hyper-V, VMware ESXi, or other converged or hyperconverged platforms.

• Ability to independently analyse and diagnose highly complex problems across multiple platforms.

• A customer-centric approach and excellent communication skills.

• Confidence in conducting whiteboarding sessions, group presentations, and other customer-centric documentation activities.

• Experience with workload migrations, including P2V and V2V migrations.

• Understanding of storage and data protection technologies, including replication, snapshots, backup, and restore.

• Exposure to automation and scripting; Python or PowerShell experience is desirable.

Certifications

Candidates must hold one of the following certifications:

• VMware certification, such as VCP or VCAP

• Nutanix Certified Professional – Multi-cloud Infrastructure (NCP-MCI)

Desired Certifications

• Nutanix Certified Professional – Multi-cloud Automation (NCP-MCA)
