About this role
- Protect product design intent and function while assisting with identification and solutions of manufacturing constraints
- Deliver statistical analysis of data on competition, customer direction, product performance, employee performance and perception of the customer to the manufacturing team members
- Interpret released engineering designs, specifications, materials and standards for hourly and salary personnel
- Engineering process variation reduction
- Employ advanced problem solving expertise to correct unfavorable variances and communicate alternative measures to mitigate engineering, timing and/or financial issues

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited university (other Engineering degrees, in combination with relevant experience may be considered)
- Minimum 5 years of related experience
- Understanding of Cp/Cpk and statistical analysis
- Well-versed in Excel, PowerPoint and MS Access
- Effective presentation/public speaking skills
- Experienced with problem solving tools
- Demonstrated ability to coach and teach others
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to communicate details from executive level to plant staff level
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work off shift hours as necessary
- Self-motivated and directed
- Advanced degree in engineering
