Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced AI/ML Architect to join our growing Engineering Product Development team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging AI/ML technologies to develop innovative and cutting-edge solutions for our engineering products, including applications utilizing Generative AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure AI/ML solutions for engineering products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, data scientists, product managers) to identify opportunities for AI/ML applications and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Develop and implement data pipelines for AI models, including data preprocessing, transformation, and feature engineering.
• Architect and build AI models using various algorithms and frameworks, including Generative AI models.
• Optimize and fine-tune models to improve accuracy, performance, and efficiency.
• Deploy and monitor AI models in production using Microsoft Azure platform.
• Develop best practices and guidelines for AI/ML development and deployment within the organization.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and research.
• Collaborate with other architects and engineers to ensure technical consistency and integration across different systems.
• Document technical solutions and provide ongoing support to the development team.

Skill Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of total SW development experience.
• 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing AI/ML solutions.
• Strong expertise in Python and experience with other programming languages like Java, C++, or R.
• Proficiency in Python and key ML/NLP libraries (Pandas, Scikit-Learn, NumPy, NLTK, SpaCy, SciPy).
• Understanding of machine learning / NLP / Deep Learning concepts and frameworks
• Experience with prompt engineering / Embeddings / Chunking / Vector database
• Experience with data storage solutions (preferably PostgreSQL)
• Exposure in BI tools, preferably PowerBI 
• Exposure to statistics concepts
• Model Optimization & Finetuning: Skilled in techniques to improve model performance, efficiency, and reduce bias.
• Version Control & Project Management: Familiarity with version control systems like Git and project management tools like JIRA.
• Proven experience in model optimization and finetuning.
• Advanced knowledge of machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure platform and experience with Azure AI services.
• Experience with data engineering and building data pipelines.
• Solid software engineering principles and experience in building scalable and maintainable applications.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for applying AI/ML technologies to solve complex engineering problems.
• Experience with Generative AI models.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or GCP (preferred).
• Experience with DevOps principles and tools (preferred).
• Domain knowledge of the engineering industry (preferred).
