General Purpose
Transport products from the production plant to the distribution center and packaging material/ingredients from the distribution center to the production plant. Unload pallets.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Transport products from the production plant to the distribution center and packaging material/ingredients from the distribution center to the production plant
- Unload the pallets using an electric pallet jack and stage them for the warehouse staff to store. Packaging materials and ingredients are usually transported by pallets, but occasionally, may hand load single items of packaging material and ingredients
- Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety, DOT, and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity and accidents and injuries
- Attend all driver workshops and training sessions

Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Tractor/trailer experience, within the last five years preferred
- Must meet minimum age requirements
- Meet all DOT requirements
- Meet Dairy Farmers of America Motor Vehicle Record requirements
- Certification and/or License – Current CDL (Class A) license in state of residence; current tanker endorsement if needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Understanding of DOT transportation regulations related to lawful operation
- Able to work safely and recognize sudden hazards and adjust accordingly
- Able to use equipment needed for the job
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively
- Able to interact positively and work effectively with others (interpersonal skills)
- Able to be proactive in seeking solutions and taking appropriate steps for problem-solving
- Able to be punctual, follow directions, and meet deadlines

HOURS- Monday evening - Saturday Morning

PAY- $31.85/hour
