SKILLBRIDGE INTERNSHIP - Front-end Software Developer

Trinity Information Technology, LLC is seeking a SkillBridge Front End Developer Intern to assist in the creation and maintenance of visually appealing web applications. The intern will focus on implementing designs from the UI/UX team and ensuring seamless user experiences while contributing to various digital projects.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with the design and development teams to convert design mock-ups and wire frames into responsive and functional web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Ensure the timely implementation of UI components, styles, and interactions to deliver an aesthetically pleasing and intuitive user interface
• Optimize web applications to ensure seamless performance across different browsers, devices, and screen sizes
• Assist in maintaining and updating existing codebases to improve performance, fix bugs, and enhance user experiences
• Work with the team to identify and implement front end performance improvements to achieve faster load times and smoother interactions
• Collaborate with back end developers and other team members to integrate front end components with server-side logic, databases, and APIs
• Participate in testing and debugging processes to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the delivery of high-quality web applications
• Stay up-to-date with the latest front end development trends, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge

What they're looking for:

• Have 180 days of service or fewer remaining prior to your date of discharge and you have at least 180 continuous days of active service
• Obtain approval from your unit commander
• Agree that participation in SkillBridge can be terminated at any time by the service if mission requirements dictate
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as basic familiarity with front end frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Ability to create responsive web layouts that adapt seamlessly to various screen sizes and devices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to effectively tackle coding challenges and find innovative solutions
• A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills to work effectively within a diverse development team
• A keen eye for detail to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of design elements
• Ability to manage tasks efficiently, prioritize work effectively, and meet project deadlines
• A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory
• Relevant practical experience and self-learning will also be considered
