SOC Operator

Join Chenega as a Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator in Quantico, VA, where you'll play a vital role in protecting personnel, facilities, and critical government assets. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced security environment, monitoring systems, responding to incidents, and supporting mission-critical operations.

• Monitor security systems and respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and unauthorized access events.
• Identify, document, and report suspicious activity, security concerns, and incidents in accordance with established procedures.
• Support personnel vetting and security operations by conducting database checks and maintaining situational awareness.
• Coordinate emergency response efforts, communicate with onsite personnel and external agencies, and assist law enforcement during investigations and security events.
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Minimum of three years of Security Operations Center (SOC) experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to accurately document and report security-related information.
• Successfully pass background and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting government, law enforcement, or federal security operations.
• Familiarity with criminal justice, law enforcement, or security databases, including NCIC.
• Prior experience coordinating emergency response activities and incident management.
• Advanced proficiency with security monitoring systems and related technologies.
