Social Media Designer

• Collaborates across teams to understand and plan content. Takes initiative to present social-appropriate solutions. Uses creative tools to enhance Vanguard's communications and marketing capabilities.

• Uses social knowledge and context to transform draft materials and concepts into concise and meaningful design solutions.

• Comfortable working within strict regulatory and compliance atmosphere to create interesting and attention-grabbing work.

• Maintains design standards and brand identity. Complies with Vanguard policies regarding electronic media.

• Collaborates with internal media services partners and external vendors on implementing artistic services or design solutions for Vanguard.

• Comfortable collaborating with business units and leaders to ensure finalized products satisfy clients' needs and expectations. Provides recommendations as needed on design and creative solutions.

• Stays current on social media trends, platform innovations, and creative best practices, proactively bringing new ideas and formats to the team.

• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

•            Three years related work experience.

•            Strong portfolio including social media (or relevant work) and motion.

•            Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graphic Design or other creative arts degree preferred.
