Two (2) Positions Available
The Agency's mission is to be boldly innovative in improving the health and quality of life for South Carolinians.
- Completes waiver enrollment activities.
- Provides case review related to assessment and service planning.
- Conducts service Prior Approval process.
- Performs Quality Assurance and Compliance Activities.
- Provides case management services.
- Promotes collaboration and effective communication.
- Performs emergency preparedness duties or activities as required.

Position Duties
A Bachelor's Degree in social work or social welfare program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, or from a social work or social welfare program offered by a regionally accredited institution, plus one (1) year of experience as a professional social worker.
MANDATORY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Must have current licensure by the SC Board of Social Work Examiners.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver's license.
- Lifting requirements: 20 lbs.
- Requires holder to drive routinely.
- In-office role.
Minimum Qualifications
- The ability to multi-task within time frames and prioritize cases utilizing effective time management skills.
- Effective time management skills and computer proficiency.
- Must be able to perform web-based software functions (key participant data, run reports, update documents, etc.).
- Knowledge of criteria for level of care determination.
- Knowledge of federal and state Medicaid regulations.
- Understanding and interest in working with the elderly and disabled.
- Ability to utilize and accept supervision and consultation.
- Ability to train new staff and contract providers.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Personal computer skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to make and keep schedules.
- Community Long Term Care experience and gerontology preparation.
