About this role

This one-year Software Developer Internship provides an opportunity to develop technology and client service skills at a world class investment management firm. Key areas of technical focus will include application support and development, business analysis, requirements definition and project coordination. As a Software Developer Intern on the application team, your responsibilities will be diverse and commensurate with demonstrated proficiency and experience. This year-round internship requires full-time in office hours during the summer of 2026 and 15-20 hours per week in the 2026-27 school year.

Responsibilities

The candidate is expected to:

  • Assist with development and maintenance of custom-built applications and flows
  • Support and help troubleshoot current applications and flows
  • Additional responsibilities and projects will be assigned with demonstrated proficiency

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills
  • Firm commitment to customer service
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm
  • A result driven mentality
  • Familiarity with some of the following technologies:
    • Snowflake, Microsoft SQL, or DynamoDB
    • Scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
    • Object oriented languages such as Java or C#. Spring Framework knowledge
    • AWS services such as Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, among others
    • Web technologies: JavaScript/Frameworks, Node.js, among others
    • Collaboration software like Slack, Confluence, among others
