Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in any of the following: user interactions, Applied AI & large language models, 3D Interfaces, performance analysis
  • 2 years of experience with Swift or other languages/frameworks used in mobile app development

Preferred qualifications:

  • Interest and ability to adapt emerging technologies to a limited computing context like wearables
  • Proficiency with AI-based workflows and an ability to take a systems thinking approach to your development process

US: $147000 - $210000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
Canada: $150000 - $153000 (CAD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Create groundbreaking, user-centric experiences and foundational platform components, from concept to deployment. This includes designing and building an intuitive home screen and innovative AI agent interfaces that will define the future of the Android glasses platform.
  • Design and implement robust, shared system UI services to enable seamless functionality across our future glasses hardware. Drive innovation in areas like dynamic widgets, deep AI agent integration, and sophisticated notification management.
  • Pioneer and enhance novel interaction methodologies for augmented reality. Collaborate with cutting-edge machine learning perception specialists to create truly magical and intuitive user experiences.
  • Drive experience definition and refinement by closely partnering with UX and Product Management teams. Translate user needs into tangible prototypes and conduct user testing to deliver maximum user benefit.
  • Plan and prioritize roadmaps, working with program management, product management, and UX stakeholders.
