Software Engineer 2027 Summer Intern

Tokyo Electron US is seeking a Software Engineer Intern for its Summer 2027 internship program. The intern will gain practical software engineering experience by analyzing, designing, programming, testing, debugging, documenting, and modifying software while collaborating with cross-functional teams and users.

What you'll do:

• Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, cloud-based, or internet-related computer programs
• Write code, complete programming tasks, and conduct testing and debugging of applications using current programming language and technologies
• Produce documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance purposes
• Collaborate with users to define system requirements and identify necessary modifications

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related field
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship
• Experience working with coding in at least one programming language, such as Python, C++, Matlab, etc
• Strong communication skills, including collaboration and presentation abilities
• Quick learner with problem-solving skills
• Highly developed analytical and organizational abilities
• Can thrive in a fast-paced environment
• SQL experience preferred
