Software Engineer Co-op

## Job Description As a Software Engineer Co-op on the TRSS team, you will be working on projects that support and extend the full stack of the TRSS solutions suite. This role requires a full stack engineer who is comfortable with data-intensive systems and frontend UI development. There will be opportunity to learn about new technologies and engage in new development. ## Key Responsibilities As a Software Engineer Co-Op, you will define, scope and manage one or more projects ensuring technical objectives are achieved. As a Software Engineer Co-Op, you will also contribute to a variety of areas, including: - Learning new technologies and frameworks, and software development best practices. - Participating in the review of specifications and the estimating process. - Writing well-designed, well-constructed, and well-tested code. - Supporting programming changes during quality assurance and product rollouts. ## Required Qualifications You’re a good fit for the role of Software Engineer Co-Op if you have the following: - Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written) to different audiences. - Problem-solving and critical thinking skills. - Desire to continuously learn new skills and technologies. - Team player mindset - Understanding of computer science principles and algorithms. - Experience coding in either Java or Python. - Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance - U.S. Citizenship essential to comply with government contract/agency or department of Federal Government requirements. ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, SQL
