Software Engineer Co-op - Spring/Summer 2027

## What You Will Do Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-August (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity). - Work within a team of Systems and Software engineers to design, develop, and test software features for software solutions that are integrated into helicopters and planes - Integrate soft skills (leadership, communication, coordination, proactiveness) into a dynamic environment that provides quality and timely products to internal and external customers. - Travel (domestic and international <10%) as needed. ## What You Will Learn - Grow knowledge of Software Engineering and Flight Management Systems ## Qualifications You Must Have - Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session. - Must have a minimum of 30 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session. - Experience with C, C++, ADA, and/or Python. ## Qualifications We Prefer - Ability to draft System and/or Software Requirements - Pilot/Avionics Experience (i.e. Private Pilot, Aircraft Maintenance, DO-178 Certification) - Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
