Software Engineer Co-op - Summer/Fall 2027

## What You Will Do Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run May/June-December (including the fall semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity). - You will design and develop software from functional and interface requirements. - You will debug flight critical software and perform associated system integration activities in a laboratory or a simulation environment. - You will create and or maintain software component unit tests. - You will develop requirement-based test procedures. - You will verify software performance through structural coverage analysis. - You will execute test procedures in support of formal software verification efforts. ## What You Will Learn - You will gain knowledge of Head-Up Displays and Camera systems. - You will gain knowledge of software development in aerospace industry. - You will learn the latest industry software development tools, practices, and processes. ## Qualifications You Must Have - Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session. - Experience in programming languages such as C, C#, Python, Perl.Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects. ## Qualifications We Prefer - Have a GPA of 3.4 or higher. - Strong software and hardware debugging skills are preferred. - Coursework in embedded system development. ## What We Offer - Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
