Software Engineer – Entry Level

## Position: Software Engineer – Entry Level Skyward is looking for Entry Level Software Engineers who have a passion for programming. You will be part of a team that develops software helping teachers provide the best possible education and helping students be successful. You may also work on business-side software such as payroll, purchasing, account management, and time off. ## As a software engineer at Skyward You'll work with object-oriented programming concepts and apply your working knowledge of C#, along with front-end technologies like CSS and JavaScript. Our agile, user-centered development process means you will work directly with quality specialists, product owners, and UX strategists to ensure the best possible user experience when software is shipped. You will collaborate with experienced software engineers, quality specialists, product owners, UX designers, and customers to advance your skills and develop the best product possible. ## Professional growth Skyward has one of the best onboarding programs in the industry. The Learning and Development Department provides both individual and collaborative learning experiences that prepare you to join one of our development teams. ## What you need - Associate degree, bachelor's degree, or similar programming experience - Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team and with customers - Proficient in Microsoft Visual Studio IDE - Experience with the Microsoft .NET/MS SQL stack and/or OpenEdge ABL (Progress) is a plus
