Software Engineer I (Full Stack) – Immediate Joiners

InterScripts, Inc. is a company in the Healthcare IT industry seeking a motivated Software Engineer I to join their growing engineering team in Daly City, CA. This role offers early-career engineers the opportunity to work on modern, scalable applications while collaborating with experienced engineers and contributing to full-stack development.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy scalable web applications
• Contribute across the full stack using modern frameworks and technologies
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment)
• Develop and maintain applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Work with containerized environments and version control tools (Git-based workflows)
• Support secure development practices, including authentication and data protection
• Continuously learn and adopt new tools, technologies, and development methodologies

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field
• 0–2 years of experience in software development (internships count)
• Strong foundation in object-oriented programming and web development
• Familiarity with TypeScript, React, and modern frontend frameworks
• Basic knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar)
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Understanding of REST APIs and web application architecture
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Exposure to Next.js, Docker, or cloud environments
• Familiarity with API integration and backend services
• Understanding of security best practices (OAuth, authentication)
