Software Engineer (II)

NCR Voyix Corporation is a global leader in unified commerce for shopping and dining, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. They are seeking a Software Engineer II to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions while collaborating with other developers and communicating with stakeholders.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with other developers to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance new software solutions
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and testing
• Stay updated with industry changes and bring new concepts to your team
• Communicate with product owners, customers, and business stakeholders concerning the team's work
• Other duties as necessary
• Part-time telecommuting is permitted

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field plus two (2) years of experience in a software engineering occupation
• Two (2) years of experience working in various phases of the Software Development Lifecycle such as requirements gathering, design, development and testing
• Two (2) years of experience with applying software design patterns to design class model, data model for given requirement
• Two (2) years of experience working with development of RESTful web services using frameworks such as Spring Boot, Node JS, etc
• Two (2) years of experience with object-oriented programming concepts
• Two (2) years of experience working with relational and NoSQL database systems like Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, etc
• One (1) year of experience working with data stream processing technologies such as Kafka, Apache Spark, etc
• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or related technical field and demonstrated knowledge of working in various phases of the Software Development Lifecycle such as requirements gathering, design, development and testing
• Demonstrated knowledge of applying software design patterns to design class model, data model for given requirement
• Demonstrated knowledge of working with development of RESTful web services using frameworks such as Spring Boot, Node JS, etc
• Demonstrated knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts
• Demonstrated knowledge of working with relational and NoSQL database systems like Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, etc
