Software Engineer Intern (AI Agent & Global Revenue Platform) - 2027 Summer

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, and they are seeking a Software Engineer Intern for their Monetization - Growth team. The intern will work on architecting and building AI Agent systems, developing a proprietary CRM platform, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive measurable growth outcomes.

What you'll do:

• Architect & build AI Agent systems
• Work on backend development of TikTok's proprietary CRM platform
• Build enterprise-grade solutions serving millions of customers and supporting billions in revenue
• Build a globalized CRM System with high performance and availability across multiple regions
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Operations, Sales, and Data Science teams to utilize AI capabilities into measurable growth outcomes

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline
• Hands-on experience with AI Agents and Multi-Agent workflows (e.g., autonomous task execution, agent collaboration)
• Deep familiarity with engineering patterns such as MCP (Model Context Protocol), RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and Code Embedding
• Experience with big data components including Spark, OLAP engines and Flink is a plus, but not required
• Familiarity with Elastic Search and key/value stores (Redis, Memcached etc) is a plus
• Familiarity with Message Queue (Kafka, RabbitMQ, RocketMQ etc) is a plus
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and Ad Sales automated processes is a plus
• Experience with Java is preferred
• Experience with Spring Boot and/or other Microservice frameworks is preferred
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres etc) is preferred
