Software Engineer Intern

## Overview DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to support development of the VetSports mobile application, a Java / React Native–based platform designed to support veteran-focused sports and community engagement initiatives. This internship provides hands-on experience contributing to a production software project. Interns will work alongside experienced developers to build and enhance features within a modern mobile application stack while gaining exposure to DevSecOps practices. ## Duties & Responsibilities - Develop and maintain features for a Java / React Native mobile application - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code - Collaborate with software engineers and project stakeholders on application development tasks - Participate in code reviews and development discussions - Assist with testing, debugging, and improving application performance - Gain exposure to DevSecOps workflows including Linux environments and GitLab CI pipelines ## Qualifications - Currently enrolled in a Software Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related degree program - Junior or Senior standing (actively taking upper-level major coursework) - Basic experience with software development concepts and programming - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
