About this role
Indra Group is seeking a Software Engineer Intern for Summer 2027. The role supports embedded software and firmware development for navigation aids, surveillance radios, and related systems, including requirements gathering, design, coding, integration, testing, validation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
What you'll do:
- Responsible for Embedded Software and Firmware development used for Ground-Based Radio Navigational Aids (NAVAIDS), Surveillance Radios (ADS-B/WAM), and other systems
- Support Embedded Software & Firmware development through activities including requirements gathering, design, coding, integration (software, firmware, and hardware), validation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Create automated testing for product manufacturing including controlling automated test equipment, environmental chambers, and built-in test
- Participate in design review process to ensure adherence to customer requirements and internal processes are being met
- Programming & Coding: C/C++, Python, MATLAB, Visual Studio
- Environments: Windows & Linux Environments
