Software Engineer Intern

Sedaro develops a cloud-native aerospace simulation platform for digital mission engineering. The Software Engineer Intern will build full-stack capabilities, developing React interfaces, Python/Django services, APIs, data visualizations, and automated tests while contributing in a Lean and Agile process.

What you'll do:

• Build features end-to-end – from React UI components to Django API endpoints
• Design and implement API contracts that serve clear, performant user experiences
• Develop intuitive data visualizations that surface complex simulation outputs
• Write automated tests across the stack
• Deliver regularly in a Lean and Agile process
• Foster a culture of learning, empowerment, and achievement

What they're looking for:

• U.S. Citizen or permanent resident status required
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience
• Hands-on experience building web applications with React
• Familiarity with at least one server-side language (Python preferred)
• Experience with Django or another web framework
• Experience with relational databases (Postgres, SQL)
• Experience with containerization (Docker)
• Experience with data visualization
