Software Engineer (Intern)

Sequence acquires established enterprises in the service economy and refounds them as market leaders by combining capital, engineering, operational expertise, and AI. The Software Engineer Intern will deploy into operating companies to rebuild workflows with AI, ship production systems, and contribute to Atlas infrastructure, data systems, and developer tools.

What you'll do:

• Deploy into our operating companies to rebuild real workflows with AI, and build the platform infrastructure that makes every future transformation faster
• Ship production systems that real operators depend on daily, and contribute to Atlas — the agent infrastructure, data systems, and developer tools that make the refounding motion repeatable across the portfolio

• Demonstrated track record of impressive academic, professional, or entrepreneurial accomplishments
• Raw horsepower and tenacity. Will run through walls to deliver results
• Proven ability to build from zero to one
• Strong communicator. Can explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience and translate operator frustrations into system designs
• Comfortable with ambiguity. Can figure out what to build first when nothing is well-defined
• Genuine interest in how real businesses operate — not just the technology, but the people and the problems worth solving
