Software Engineer Intern

Apex Capital Corp is offering a flexible, part-time internship that provides real-world professional experience alongside coursework. The intern will work directly with the software engineering team on meaningful projects, gaining exposure to company leadership and contributing to the development of proprietary applications.

What you'll do:

• Work with software engineering managers and other software engineers to help with development tasks related to our applications and ongoing projects
• Coding
• Test-driven development
• Other tasks that support our software engineering department’s goals

What they're looking for:

• Understanding of object-oriented programming
• Understanding of software development lifecycle
• Understanding of software troubleshooting
• Understanding of CI/CD processes
• Ability to work within core business hours - 7 am - 6 pm
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis now and in the future
• Local to the DFW area
• Computer Science major
• Familiarity with C, C++, or Java
