Software Engineer Intern

## Role Summary The Software Engineer Intern will be an integral part of each phase of the software development lifecycle including design, development, deployment, testing and maintenance. The primary focus will be on enhancing our Ecommerce platforms supporting the online shopping experience for our brands including Anthropologie.com, UrbanOutfitters.com, FreePeople.com and ShopTerrain.com. ## About the Summer Internship Program Each summer, URBN Inc. welcomes candidates from across the country to immerse themselves within various teams across our portfolio of brands and gain hands-on learning experience in the area of business they choose to pursue. The URBN 2027 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/7 through 8/13 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA. ## Role Responsibilities - Develop new product features and advance the design of existing code for the Ecommerce applications. - Opportunity to use programming languages like python, Golang, Javascript, HTML & CSS - Opportunity to use databases like MongoDB & Postgres - Participate in full software development lifecycle. - Work on a scrum team with other software engineers, QA and Business Analysts ## Role Qualifications - Understanding of OO principles and design patterns - Enjoys working in a collaborative team setting. - Self-starter, ready to learn new concepts and technologies. - Willing to take on responsibility for new features and develop them from inception to completion.
