Software Engineer Intern (Fall 2026)

Zipline is the world’s largest and most experienced drone delivery service, dedicated to ensuring access to essential goods globally. The Software Engineer Intern will take technical ownership of critical features in mobile and web apps, collaborating cross-functionally to enhance user experiences.

What you'll do:

• Take technical ownership of critical features across Zipline’s consumer mobile and web apps, from design through deployment and iteration
• Build features in the React Native mobile codebase or backend services in Python and Go
• Collaborate cross-functionally to build user-facing features that are fast, elegant, and grounded in a strong understanding of customer needs
• Influence our long-term technical roadmap and contribute to team-wide engineering best practices

What they're looking for:

• You must have completed the second year of your undergraduate studies. Masters and PhD students are also eligible
• Passion for software development and curiosity to learn new technology stacks
• Strong understanding in computer science fundamentals
• A product mindset and passion for crafting intuitive, delightful customer experiences
