## Job Description As a New College Graduate Software Engineer at Visa, you will join one of our technology organizations and work on impactful projects that shape the future of digital payments. Some job duties and projects could include: - Write optimized, secure, and scalable code following industry best practices (e.g., unit testing, code reviews). - Develop solutions that support both product and technology objectives. - Build end-to-end technology solutions addressing business needs. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. - Diagnose and resolve software issues using root cause analysis.All Visa roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work. Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. ## Qualifications Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS/MIS, Cybersecurity, Business or a related field - Graduating May 2026 - August 2027 - Less than 6 months of relevant work experiencePreferred Qualifications - Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, C#, .NET, JavaScript, Go). - Familiarity with web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js). - Experience with automation tools, REST APIs, and test frameworks (e.g., Selenium). - Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS), databases (MySQL), or data visualization (Power BI). - Understanding of Generative AI tools and concepts (framework usage, integration, prompt design). - Knowledge of software engineering principles, testing, and version control. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to learn quickly, collaborate effectively, and adapt to complex challenges. - Clear written and verbal communication skills appropriate for professional settings.
