The Software Engineer plays a key role in developing innovative software solutions across both front-end interfaces and back-end systems that empower our customers and drive the organization’s strategic goals. This role develops software solutions by studying requirements, collaborating with stakeholders and IT management, and designing software using development fundamentals. The position is responsible for both out-of-the-box and custom development, reviewing business processes, and recommending improvements. The %3Cstrong%3ESoftware Engineer%3C/strong%3E manages source code, works with Business Analysts, conducts unit testing, prepares documentation, and participates in product design reviews. Collaboration across teams and applying user insights to enhance user experience are central to this role.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3EResponsibilities:%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3EDevelop, test, and deploy robust full-stack software solutions through comprehensive requirements analysis and collaboration with stakeholders and IT Management.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EBuild responsive, user-friendly front-end applications utilizing React, and design scalable, secure back-end services using Java.%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3EDesign, develop, configure, and enhance applications using both out-of-the-box functionality and custom development approaches.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EReview, analyze, and evaluate business processes, procedures, and system requirements, recommending and implementing process improvements.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPartner with Business Analysts, business units, Technical Service Analysts (TSAs), Software Engineers, SDETs, Integration Engineers, system administrators, DBAs, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver application enhancements.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EManage and maintain source code repositories, version control artifacts, and software deployment processes.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EConduct unit testing, support quality assurance efforts, prepare technical documentation, and validate system changes prior to production release.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ECollaborate with customer service teams, product managers, developers, IT teams, and business stakeholders to improve system functionality, user experience, and operational efficiency.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EParticipate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3E%26nbsp;%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3EQualifications:%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3EBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E3 + years of experience in software development, application support, systems analysis, or a related technical role.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExperience with software and application development using multiple technologies, programming languages, databases, integrations, frameworks, and development methodologies.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EStrong programming and systems analysis experience with the ability to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot applications and system solutions.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExtensive knowledge of software development lifecycles, SQL, database systems, and data modeling concepts.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EWorking knowledge of SQL, React, Python, APIs, and data integration technologies.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExperience with DevOps practices, source code management, and cloud platforms.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EStrong debugging, troubleshooting, testing, and problem-solving skills.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EKnowledge of integrated application development methodologies and best practices.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EStrong analytical, judgment, project management, and decision-making skills.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExcellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAbility to work independently and within a team environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing technology and business needs.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EFinancial services or banking industry experience is a plus.%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3E%26nbsp;%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3EVisa Sponsorship:%3C/strong%3E%3Cbr%3E%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis position is currently not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B visa).
