Software Engineer - TikTok Ads Creator Monetization

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, and they are seeking a Software Engineer for their Ads Creator Monetization team. The role involves developing innovative products to support brand and influencer collaborations, building scalable systems, and collaborating with global teams to drive business growth within TikTok ads and creator monetization.

What you'll do:

• Contribute to the development of innovative products that support brand and influencer collaborations, utilizing core technical skills such as AI and content understanding
• Assist in executing strategic goals and providing technical support to drive business growth within TikTok ads and creator monetization
• Collaborate with senior team members to learn and develop technical leadership skills in the creative ecosystem
• Help design and implement key projects within the creator monetization ecosystem, under guidance from more experienced colleagues
• Participate in building scalable and reliable systems that support product objectives and requirements
• Support the creation of long-term technical roadmaps and contribute to ongoing technical decision-making
• Work closely with global R&D and product management teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to execute projects

What they're looking for:

• 1+ years of experience as a software engineer with proven contributions to team-based projects, ideally in a collaborative or leadership role
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms, with proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java)
• Passion for learning and exploring new technologies, with demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate within a team and take ownership of tasks
• Exposure to or experience in leading small teams or projects, with the ability to mentor peers or guide junior team members
• Familiarity with cross-region or distributed teams, with an understanding of the dynamics and challenges of remote collaboration
• Experience working with scalable systems or contributing to the design and development of production-level software
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms or distributed systems (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
• Interest in or experience with ad technologies, recommendation systems, or influencer monetization ecosystems
