Software Engineering Co-op

FM is a mutual insurance company dedicated to property risk management and policyholder resilience. FM is seeking a Software Engineering Co-op to work full time during the Spring 2027 semester, developing and modifying business applications, integrating applications and databases, improving software delivery and deployment processes, and automating software testing.

What you'll do:

• As a software development co-op, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world problems and solutions with a team of talented developers. Your projects may consist of developing or modifying business applications, integrating business applications and databases, augmenting rapid software delivery and deployment processes, and automating software testing

What they're looking for:

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student studying Computer Science, or related degree program degree during the Spring 2027 Semester to be considered
• Knowledge of Theory and principles of software engineering
• Proficiency in high-level programming languages:
• Objected Oriented Programming: C#, Java or Python required
• Typescript, REACT, Angular or JavaScript
• Experience with **Oracle, MS SQL Server, or any relational databases**
• **Advanced proficiency in T‑SQL**, including complex queries and stored procedures
• Ability to work effectively in teams and solve problems
• Desire and willingness to learn new technologies
• Must be able to work full time 37.5 hours a week from January to June 2027!
• Personal projects with technical skills listed and Student involvement on campus a plus!
