Software Engineering Development Program

Kickstart your engineering career with a one-year rotational experience tailored for emerging engineers looking to build a versatile skill set. Gain hands-on experience across multiple engineering teams, explore emerging technologies, work directly with mentors, and solve real-world problems for small businesses. At the end of the rotation, you’ll move into a permanent role with a broad technical foundation. This is a hybrid position based out of the Waltham, MA office, with a target start of July 2027. ## What You'll Do - Rotate through four different teams and gain broad experience in areas like frontend, backend, and DevOps, working on a variety of projects. - Work with your SEDP cohort on a capstone project for an entire quarter: design, build, test, implement, and launch a customer-facing feature released into production. - Participate in customized technical and soft-skills training throughout the year. - Use existing and emerging technologies such as Java, ReactJS, AWS, Kubernetes, and Ruby in a CI/CD environment. - Write production code with the help and support of experienced software engineers. - Develop web applications at scale, used by hundreds of thousands of customers. - Receive guidance from mentors and managers throughout the program. ## Who You Are - Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar discipline by May/June 2027, or equivalent relevant industry experience. - Are new to the field of software engineering. - Are excited to learn and experience web technologies at scale. - Are passionate about and interested in a broad range of technologies. - Are looking for a learning experience to build a solid foundation and accelerate your career. - Are invested in the company’s commitment and vision to transform how small businesses connect with their customers. - Are looking to embrace emerging technologies. ## Compensation and Benefits Pay transparency range for full-time employees: $90,000–$105,000 USD. The specific salary may be influenced by experience, education, and work location. Some roles may be eligible for additional on-target commission pay or bonus.
