Software Engineering Intern

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is a global leader in clinical diagnostics developing solutions for clinical testing and laboratory workflows. The Software Engineering Intern will support the design, development, refinement, and testing of applications, dashboards, and tools for the ICE software platform, while creating prototypes, documenting findings, and presenting work to stakeholders.

What you'll do:

• Work on a project under the direction of a mentor and in collaboration with other highly talented data and software engineers
• Provide regular updates covering progress, problems and solutions
• Document your findings and present your work to the team at the end of term

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering and equivalent program (3rd year and later)
• Experience with strongly typed languages (e.g. C++\ JAVA\C#) as well as experience with HTML-JS variants
• Strong documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Public Github profile\stack overflow threads to show their contribution
• Outlook towards Medical Devices and Healthcare
• Outlooks towards agile software development practices
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
