Software Engineering Intern

BTI360 is a software engineering company focused on developing people, teams, and software solutions for national security customers. The Software Engineering Intern will collaborate with fellow interns to develop an analytics-based web application while gaining experience with modern software development tools, practices, and leadership through mentorship.

What you'll do:

• Work as a team to develop an analytic-based web application
• Make decisions involving design, tech stack, and more with your team
• Acquire valuable experience with cutting-edge software development tools and practices
• Gain leadership skills through mentoring by senior engineers

What they're looking for:

• Meet eligibility requirements for a U.S. security clearance
• Currently major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
• Graduate between December 2027 and May 2028
• Have experience with at least one modern programming language (Java, Python or C/C++)
• Understand Computer Science fundamentals including data structures, object oriented design, algorithms, etc
• Desire to develop and apply technical and interpersonal skills
• Work well in a team environment
• Possess strong communication skills
• Ability to work in the Northern Virginia area
• Continuous Integration (Jenkins)
• Test Driven Development
• DevOps Skills (Kubernetes, Docker)
