Software Engineering Intern, Product Security (Summer 2027)

HP IQ is HP’s AI innovation lab developing intelligent technologies across HP’s portfolio. The Software Engineering Intern will help secure users’ devices, data, and HP IQ’s infrastructure while balancing strong security with exceptional user experiences. The role involves contributing to privacy-focused product design and development in a collaborative environment.

• Pursuing a degree (Bachelors or Graduate) in Computer Science or related technical field
• Strong software engineering skills

• Experience with C, C++, Java or Python
• An understanding of security concepts (cryptography, access control, authorization, network security, software security)
• Ability to “think paranoid” as a basis for threat modeling
