About this role

The Sourcing Operations Analyst/Associate will support the Business Services and Consumer, Technology, or Industrials verticals by evaluating AI tools, assisting with deal team support, conducting research, and managing relationships and pipelines.
What you'll do:
- Evaluate new AI tools and data to improve workflows (first looks, research, screening)
- Help to implement new tools and act as an intermediary between IT, Data Science and the PE team members
- Identify internal use cases for AI across sourcing, diligence and portfolio support
- Assist with early screenings of investment themes and investment opportunities
- Develop systems and screening tools to monitor targets and subsectors
- Support inbound opportunity evaluation and prioritization
- Complete deep dive analysis on industry sectors and market trends
- Assist deal team with diligence efforts including strategic analysis, market mapping and expert network calls
- Synthesize findings for internal updates and diligence streams
- Leverage BCP network and tools to find warm introductions to targets
- Maintain Affinity CRM (entry of interactions, pipelines & trackers, reporting)
- Own map of banker network/intermediaries and work directly with coverage officers to coordinate on conferences and guide inbound investment opportunities

- Outstanding Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfort with engaging a broad group of internal and external stakeholders, executive presence
- Superior communication, both written and verbal
- Self-starter with strong project management and follow-through skills
- Detail-oriented, conscientious and energetic professional with ability to think creatively and independently
- Familiarity with finance/private equity space
- Prior experience with CRM tool and private company origination platforms (e.g., Pitchbook, Grata)
- 1 to 2 years' experience in business development or sales operations
- Four-year college degree with a strong academic background
