This program temporarily reduces employees’ monthly base pay in exchange for paid leave credits. This position is subject to PLP 2025 and will have a monthly base pay reduction of 3% in exchange for 5 hours of leave credits through June 2027. The salary ranges shown on this job posting do not reflect the salary reduction.

This non-confidential Statement of
Qualifications (SOQ) is designed to elicit information regarding each
applicant’s knowledge, skills, and abilities in relation to the Analyst II position
in CAL FIRE Southern Region Operations Hand Crew Program
Please submit an SOQ for the hiring
manager’s review. Your SOQ will serve as the first interview for this
position: applications without an SOQ that answer all questions below will not
be considered. If your qualifications within your SOQ and resume are
competitive, you will be invited for an in-person interview. When completing
the SOQ, please include specific examples and explain your responses
thoroughly. Your SOQ should be no longer than one (1) page, single-spaced, 12
pt. Arial font with one (1) inch margins.
