Specialist, Accounts Payable

Carvana is a company focused on transforming the car-buying experience through technology and process innovation. The Accounts Payable Specialist will process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently, support payment inquiries and reconciliations, complete month-end duties, and collaborate with internal teams and customers.

What you'll do:

• High Volume Invoice processing with strict deadlines
• Working with internal customers to ensure timely processing of Check Requests
• Researching a high volume of inquiries regarding the status and other payment information
• Reconcile Vendor Statements to confirm all outstanding invoices have been received and entered
• Completing month-end duties on time
• Working closely with GL Team regarding coding and invoice entries
• Extend excellent customer service for both internal and external customers
• Additional duties as assigned

What they're looking for:

• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ years of Accounts Payable or Accounting experience
• An ability to work and meet deadlines
• Type 80+ words a minute with minimal errors
• Solid attention to detail
• Problem-Solving skills
• Flexibility with daily tasks
• Organizational Skills
• Advanced Excel and Oracle skills
• A sense of urgency and professionalism, with impeccable communication skills
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
