Sports Growth & Marketing Internship

Peak Scouts is a sports-native executive search and talent advisory firm serving college athletics and the broader sports industry. The Sports Growth & Marketing Intern will support content creation, social media, marketing operations, and business development activities, including CRM management, content scheduling, and lead tracking.

What you'll do:

• Maintain and organize marketing data across our CRM, spreadsheets, and tracking systems
• Edit podcast clips using Descript (cutting, trimming, adding captions)
• Format and schedule edited content for social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube)
• Support social media posting and manage our content calendar
• Assist with posting open positions to our website and LinkedIn, including sourcing and coordinating those postings
• Support business development efforts, including lead tracking, outreach coordination, and CRM upkeep
• Support additional marketing and business development projects as needed

What they're looking for:

• A genuine interest in athletics and sports — you should care about the content, not just produce it
• Currently working in athletics, or a strong interest in pursuing a career in the sports industry
• Experience with Descript, or a willingness to learn quickly
• Comfortable with data entry and spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets)
• Familiarity with social media platforms and what drives engagement
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Currently enrolled in a college program (for credit arrangement)
• Interest in business development is a plus
