Spring 2027 Accounting Internship

Bucheri McCarty & Metz LLP is currently seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual to work as an Accounting Intern for the 2026 Tax Season. The position involves performing a wide variety of accounting and tax assignments, including preparation of tax returns and correspondence with regulatory agencies.

What you'll do:

• Preparation of federal, state and local income tax returns including those with multiple states
• Preparation of correspondence with various regulatory agencies
• Performance of other general accounting, audit, and tax duties as needed

What they're looking for:

• Pursuit of Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Proficiency with MS Office Applications
• Strong organizational, time and stress management skills to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
