Spring 2027 Electrical Engineering Internship/Co-Op

Marotta Controls delivers control systems for the aerospace and defense industry. The Electrical Engineering Intern/Co-Op will gain hands-on experience supporting the design, production, quality, and testing of mission-critical aerospace systems, including circuit design, compliance, troubleshooting, and process improvement.

What you'll do:

• Assist in electrical design, validation, and testing of aerospace systems
• Review and create schematics, wiring harness layouts, and test procedures
• Support compliance with military and aerospace standards
• Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and troubleshooting
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to bring designs into production

What they're looking for:

• Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering program
• Strong GPA and performance in electrical systems, circuits, and hardware courses
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to solve real-world challenges
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Availability to work full-time onsite beginning January 2027 throughout end of summer 2027
• The Engineering Intern is regularly required to see, talk and hear
• The Engineering Intern is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, and to use hands to finger, handle or feel
• The Engineering Intern is frequently required to sit at length, stand, walk, and move about the facility
• The Engineering Intern may be required to lift and/or move items weighing up to 20 pounds
• Experience with CAD tools (Altium, OrCAD, AutoCAD Electrical preferred)
