Spring 2027 Engineering Internship

Mach Industries is a defense technology company developing next-generation autonomous defense platforms and decentralized defense systems. The Spring 2027 Engineering Internship is a paid, in-person 12-week opportunity for future engineers and builders to contribute to autonomous systems, embedded software, hardware design, propulsion, systems integration, tools, infrastructure, and simulations.

What you'll do:

• Autonomous systems — guidance, control, and navigation software for unmanned platforms
• Embedded firmware and real-time software for flight and drive systems
• Mechanical and structural design, manufacturing, and test of hardware components
• Propulsion, energetics, or systems integration for new defense platforms
• Tools, infrastructure, and simulations that accelerate engineering velocity
• Available to work extended hours and weekends as needed

What they're looking for:

• Enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program in mechanical, aerospace, electrical, computer science / engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Intellectual curiosity and the drive to own problems end-to-end
• Genuine interest in defense technology, national security, or the future of autonomous systems
• Ability to complete in an in-person 12-week internship in one of our offices in spring 2027
• Available to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
