Spring 2027 Intern - Data Analytics

Workiva provides an AI-powered platform that unifies finance, risk, and sustainability information for complex organizations. The Data Research and Collection Intern will research the ESMA mandate, collect and analyze compliance and customer data, and recommend Wdesk product improvements and development priorities.

What you'll do:

• Perform market research on the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) mandate
• Collect information on companies’ current compliance with ESMA disclosure requirements and gather information comparing current state to present and potential future Wdesk functionality
• Analyze data to drive decision-making on new features of Wdesk
• Suggest new product development priorities for Wdesk after gathering market data
• Analyze use of Wdesk by current customers in the EU

What they're looking for:

• Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program from an accredited university
• Minimal travel
• Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office
• A research mentality
• Proven ability to analyze data
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results, and continuous improvement
• The ability to work successfully in a high-energy, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
• Experience using Excel to collect and analyze data
