Senior Front End Developer

The Senior Front End Developer will work with our development, creative, user experience, and project management teams to develop and deploy cutting-edge web sites with innovative technologies.

In this position you will be required to work independently to develop large and complex areas of an application, demonstrating the experience to work with the Front End Architect to implement and enhance the application architecture as needed. At this level, the developer needs to possess a thorough, functional knowledge of front-end development technologies and best practices and experience integrating with modern application platforms and frameworks. This role affords the opportunity to continue to refine those skills while starting to embrace larger architectural and leadership opportunities.

IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL

• Collaborate with creative and user experience teams to bring unique and engaging interfaces to life
• Push the limits with modern technology and platform architectures to expand upon the ways we can engage and capture the attention of our customers through our applications interface.
• Work across some of the largest brands in ecommerce to deliver web and mobile applications.
• Actively participate and take part in crafting our front-end community and vision, where we avidly review, refine, and promote standards and best practices across different platforms
• Lead development across large features and views, working across all aspects of the development cycle
• Assist the Architect in crafting the application architecture, estimating and assigning tasks, and implementing some of the more challenging aspects of the delivery
• Develop and document standards and best practices and educate the community on them

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

• Experience across one or more large-scale, ecommerce platforms
• Hands on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud
• Passion to learn and teach new skills and technologies
• Self-directed; Ability to estimate across large areas of an application and break it down into structured, actionable tasks
• Expert level understanding of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Sass
• Proficient across multiple modern JS and CSS frameworks and scaffolding

  • Flexbox
• Ability to select and apply common development patterns, architectures, and best practices
• Expert knowledge with CSS animations
• Expert knowledge developing and maintaining responsive web applications
• SEO and Accessibility best practices
• Experience integrating with 3rd party systems
• Experience working across multiple CMS platforms

• React and Redux
