Job Overview
At Stellantis, we’re building the next generation of connected, autonomous, and intelligent vehicles. We are looking for an experienced Senior Middleware Software Engineer to develop core platform services that power vehicle domains including ADAS, Connectivity, Infotainment, and next-generation vehicle architectures.
In this role, you will design and develop middleware and service-oriented software solutions, contribute to platform architecture, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance embedded systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automotive middleware and platform services.
- Contribute to requirements, architecture, and technical design discussions.
- Develop service-oriented solutions for Linux and QNX-based platforms.
- Integrate and optimize software for MCU and MPU environments.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve embedded software issues.
- Collaborate with system, integration, validation, and supplier teams.
- Drive software quality through CI/CD, automation, and modern development practices
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of embedded software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python.
- Experience with automotive middleware technologies such as AUTOSAR (Classic/Adaptive), SOA, or DDS.
- Experience developing software on Linux and/or QNX platforms.
- Knowledge of CAN, Ethernet, and SOME/IP communication protocols.
- Experience debugging embedded software on target hardware.
- Familiarity with Git, CMake/Bazel, Conan, and CI/CD toolchains.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with cloud-connected and AI-enabled vehicle platforms.
