About this role
Already Autism Health is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join its growing accounting team. The role supports accounts payable, payroll, account reconciliations, month-end and year-end close activities, general ledger maintenance, audits, tax preparation, and process improvement.
What you'll do:
- Process vendor invoices accurately and timely
- Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation
- Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, payments, and account inquiries
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs, including ACH, wire, and check payments
- Assist with maintaining vendor records and resolving discrepancies
- Assist with payroll entries & reconciliations, conduct payroll review to ensure GL data accuracy, and collaborate with HR to resolve any payroll reconciliation discrepancies
- Prepare and maintain account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
- Record journal entries and support general ledger maintenance
- Support audit and tax preparation by gathering requested documentation
- Help improve accounting processes and internal controls
