Staff Accountant

API Heat Transfer is hiring a Staff Accountant to support the financial operations of its manufacturing business. The role maintains accounting records, supports close activities and inventory and cost accounting, prepares financial analyses and reports, and partners with operations, supply chain, and finance teams.

What you'll do:

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Support inventory accounting, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes
• Analyze inventory, labor, material, and overhead variances
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities
• Prepare financial analyses and management reports
• Support internal and external audits and maintain compliance with GAAP
• Maintain ERP accounting data and support process improvements
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to improve financial performance
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

What they're looking for:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
• Knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and inventory accounting
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Associate degrees in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
• Manufacturing and cost accounting experience preferred
