Staff Accountant

Canopius Group is a global specialty lines (re)insurer and one of the leading insurers in the Lloyd’s of London insurance market. The Staff Accountant role involves supporting financial close processes and ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.

What you'll do:

• Reconciling various bank accounts each month
• Maintaining entries and reconciliations for intercompany payables/receivables each month
• Assisting preparation of various annual and quarterly statutory financial statements
• Preparation of entries and wire requests for various monthly settlements
• Various UK parent group provided entries and ledger summary submissions
