Staff Accounting Intern (Summer 2027)

QC Servion provides centralized accounting and operational support across the QC Ecosystem of companies. The Staff Accounting Intern will support accounting operations, including reconciliations, journal entries, payroll-related functions, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close activities.

What you'll do:

• Assist with account reconciliations and financial record maintenance
• Support preparation of journal entries and accounting schedules
• Assist with month-end close activities
• Support payroll-related accounting functions
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed
• Help prepare financial reports and supporting schedules
• Review financial data for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Support variance analysis and reporting
• Participate in audit preparation and documentation gathering
• Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives

What they're looking for:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing
• Basic understanding of accounting principles through coursework
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
• Frequently required to remain in a stationary position
• Frequently moving through home office, facility and other environments
• On occasion the employee may move equipment or other items weighing up to 25 pounds
• Up to 5%, this may include travel to any or all 50 US states
